I’m a vegan girl from the Northwest. I also happen to be a foodie, in a friendly and inclusive sort of way; not an off-putting, guilt-laden, my-way-or-the-highway kind of way. I believe that it’s a personal choice, and a daily decision to be vegan. If you’ve made that commitment too, I think you’ll find yourself right at home here.
My goal with Best Vegan Life is to share some of the recipes and shopping tips I’ve developed over the last few years. If you’re new to (or just pondering) vegan cooking, I recommend easing into it with low-commitment changes to start with. Learn the flavors you like, be willing to experiment, and make room for failures along the way. Not every venture will be a success, but it will always be a learning experience.
Whatever your motivation is, research everywhere points to the same conclusions. A plant-based diet is a more efficient use of farm land, better for our bodies, and kinder to the animals we share our planet with. Whether you’re just starting on your vegan journey, or looking for some new ideas, stick around!
